Palm handhelds are made by
Palm, Sony,
Handspring, Garmin, Kyocera, and others. Many Palms have
optional built-in features such as cell phones, GPS, color
screens, digital cameras, and MP3 players, so there's sure to
be one right for you. Plus with thousands of software titles
available, you'll be amazed at the power and versatility a
Palm handheld provides.
The Auterra Dyno-Scan supports almost every Palm organizer,
smartphone, and mobile manager ever made, as shown below. The
latest Auterra software requires Palm OS version 3.0 or
higher. All Palm PDAs listed in the table below are 3.0 and
higher.
Palm handhelds do not have a standardized connector.
Therefore, depending on the Palm handheld owned a different
serial HotSync cable is required as shown below.

Auterra presently does not stock
the C-105, C-106, C-109, C-111, or C-114 cables. The following
table has part numbers to assist in locating the correct
cable. Serial cables are usually listed on the manufacturers'
site under Accessories.

Not all Palm handheld devices
are supported by Auterra. Some are not equipped with the
required hardware configuration to support communication with
an Auterra OBD II adapter. The following Palm OS handheld
devices are not supported:

Palm / palmOne Zire, Zire 21, Zire 22, Zire 31, and Zire 72 (Zire
71 is supported, see above)
